Welcome to Hackbridge Skip Hire. By utilizing our skip hire services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding with your skip hire reservation.
1. Definitions
- Service Provider: Hackbridge Skip Hire and its affiliates.
- Customer: Any individual or entity requesting skip hire services from Hackbridge Skip Hire.
- Skip: The container provided by Hackbridge Skip Hire for waste disposal.
2. Booking and Reservation
To reserve a skip, Customers must provide accurate and complete information during the booking process. All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation by Hackbridge Skip Hire.
2.1. Booking Process
Customers can book a skip through our online platform or by contacting our customer service team. Upon successful booking, a confirmation will be sent to the Customer with the reservation details.
2.2. Reservation Changes
Any changes to the reservation must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled delivery. Failure to do so may result in additional charges.
3. Delivery and Collection
Hackbridge Skip Hire will deliver the skip to the specified location within the agreed timeframe. Customers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery location is accessible and safe for the placement of the skip.
3.1. Placement of Skip
The Service Provider reserves the right to refuse or relocate the skip placement if deemed unsafe or inappropriate.
3.2. Collection of Skip
Upon completion of the agreed rental period, the Service Provider will collect the skip. If the skip is not collected on time, additional charges may apply.
4. Usage Terms
Customers must adhere to the following usage terms when utilizing the skip:
- Allowed Waste: Only non-hazardous waste, including household waste, construction debris, and general waste, is permitted.
- Prohibited Items: Hazardous materials such as asbestos, chemicals, batteries, and electrical equipment are strictly prohibited.
- Weight Limit: Each skip has a maximum weight capacity. Exceeding this limit may incur additional charges.
4.1. Compliance with Laws
Customers must ensure that all waste disposed of complies with local, regional, and national laws and regulations. Non-compliance may result in penalties or termination of service.
5. Payment Terms
Payment for skip hire services must be made in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed upon. We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards and bank transfers.
5.1. Pricing
Pricing is based on the size of the skip, the duration of hire, and the type of waste being disposed of. Additional services may incur extra charges.
5.2. Late Payments
Late payments may result in service suspension until the outstanding balance is settled. Interest may be charged on overdue amounts.
6. Cancellation and Refunds
Customers may cancel their skip hire reservation by providing written notice at least 48 hours before the scheduled delivery. Refunds for cancellations made within this period will be processed, minus any applicable fees.
6.1. No-Show Policy
If the Customer fails to be available for delivery without prior notice, a no-show fee may be applied.
7. Liability
Hackbridge Skip Hire is not liable for any damage to property or injury caused during the delivery, placement, or collection of the skip, except where due to gross negligence or willful misconduct by our staff.
7.1. Indemnification
Customers agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hackbridge Skip Hire against any claims, losses, or damages arising from their use of our services.
8. Insurance
While we take precautions to protect your property, Customers are encouraged to have their own insurance to cover any potential damages not covered by Hackbridge Skip Hire.
9. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Hackbridge Skip Hire operates.
9.1. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the relevant jurisdiction.
10. Amendments

11. Force Majeure
